This client was having a major problem with a Chinese sourced product.The lead times were long and they were getting a very high casualty rate (in excess of 40%) of the product breaking in service. This resulted in a lot of time being wasted in replacing the units, but also a potential loss of credibility in the company whose product was being displayed. We offered a solution in PETG, which although more expensive to buy, worked out to be much better value in the long run, because of zero failure in use. We have since completed a second large batch for them.
